By the maturity of LCD display technology, the market of industrial display applications also keeps rising. However, most of LCD displays are still with traditional aspect ration, 4:3 or 16:9. To satisfy more and more special industrial applications, LITEMAX, the leader of industrial LCD display manufacturers, who has developed a new LCD cutting technology for the trend-setting product, SPANPIXEL LCDs. At Computex Taipei 2009, it was the first time for LITEMAX to exhibit this special format LCD series. Through positive feedbacks from the show, LITEMAX will launch more all-round SPANPIXEL LCD displays in the near feature. New SPANPIXEL series will entirely take LED backlight design, the brightness of display will be increased from 250 nits to 1000 nits. Apparently, by new SPNAPIXEL products, the performance of outdoor display applications will be vividly and more clear to catch customers’ eyes and to fit users.
The only “Tailor-made” LCD display
Due to LCD economic cutting in the existing TFT LCD fabric, most aspect ratios of industrial displays are still 4:3 or 16:9. However, by the rising of industrial displays market, more and more applications should be supported by new LCD panel with special aspect ratio. As the leader of industrial LCD display, LITEMAX developed seamless LCD panel wall – “LITILE34” and then the new “expaneded” LCD display series – “SPANPIXEL” will be launched soon. According to the self-developed LCD cutting technology, the aspect ratui of future SPANPIXEL LCD panels can be 16:3 or 16:6. Customers will be able to choose more suitable panel for their special equipments in lifts, public transportation, information center or more specific applications.
“Sunlight Readable Technology” + “Outdoor Display Technologies” support
Because of a long-term plan on industrial display industry, LITEMAX has multiple patents of outdoor displays. For a extending the application field, Litemax integrates many exclusive outdoor display technologies into this new LCD series, ”SPANPIXEL”. The revolution of special format LCD displays can be applied in the rising digital signage industry including shop window, shopping mall, exhibition center, convention, financial industry, art gallery and museum. In the section of the integration of industrial applications and automation item, SPANPIXEL series LCD panels will be saving more display space and presenting more exact visual performance to offer a brand-new visual experience.
LED Backlight – Green Design, Energy Saving and Long Product Life Cycle
Although CCFL backlight is still the mainstream material for LCD panel manufacturing. However, in order to support the trend of environmental protection, the whole SPANPIXEL series will take LED tubes to be the backlight material. In addition, integrating the latest self R&D power board, AD Board and LED

Driving Board, these products will keep high quality and display effect but low energy consumption.
