Taipei, Taiwan, November 11, 2008 – Litemax Electronics Inc., the leader in the VHB (Very High Brightness) LCD display field, signed a technology cooperation agreement with Flat Panel Display Solutions, LLC. (FPD Solutions) to share optical bonding technologies to leverage our respective strengths in developing competitive optical enhancement solutions for large-screen format monitors and special-purpose optical windows and filters. The objectives of the technology cooperation agreement are to:
• commercialize large-size optical bonding for improved optics and protection of FPD Displays
• collaborate to develop custom High Bright and Optically Bonded solutions
• deliver development prototype and first article units cost efficiently and with a minimum lead time
• deliver high volume optically bonded products
• develop new business opportunities
• strengthen the business partnership between FPD Solutions and Litemax through clear ommunications and understanding of process and capabilities.
