Press Releases

The Litemax IEPA-1330-RKC3-WGLD is an advanced double 13.3-inch e-paper smart bus display specifically engineered to meet the demands of modern green transit and off-grid smart city infrastructure. By seamlessly integrating industrial-grade ruggedness with inclusive social care, this cutting-edge solution provides municipalities and transport authorities with an efficient platform to enhance passenger communication while accelerating their transition toward sustainable urban development.

Featuring an ultra-high resolution of 3200 by 1200 pixels combined with advanced bistable technology, the display delivers exceptional ambient-light readability and crisp, reflection-free visibility even under direct glare. The display operates with extreme energy efficiency, consuming only 1/50 the power of traditional LCDs and requiring zero power to maintain static images. Furthermore, with an engineered 450ms fast refresh rate, the system ensures a comfortable, paper-like reading experience while completely eliminating the page-turning ghosting common in standard e-paper applications.

Built to withstand severe weather conditions and high-traffic public environments, the hardware is encased in a 56mm ultra-slim aluminum enclosure that boasts an IK10 impact protection rating and an IP65 weatherproof certification. To guarantee continuous uptime under demanding operational environments, the system integrates heavy-duty M12 industrial-grade waterproof and anti-vibration round connectors. This robust electrical architecture eliminates potential failures caused by continuous vehicular vibrations from nearby roads and severe rainstorms.

A key highlight of the IEPA-1330-RKC3-WGLD is its innovative "upper-lower partitioned" modular design. The top module isolates high-performance Wi-Fi connectivity and an adjustable LED front illumination system to ensure optimal nighttime visibility. Meanwhile, the bottom module is strictly dedicated to inclusive, accessible features based on universal design principles. This includes an integrated NFC reader, a clear voice-broadcasting speaker, and a highly visible physical "red bus-hailing button." This universal configuration empowers elderly and disabled passengers to hail arriving buses effortlessly, effectively bridge communication gaps, and minimize visual friction between commuters and transit drivers.

Aligned with global sustainability benchmarks, the system is 100% RoHS compliant and fully optimized for solar power and energy storage integration. Designed to achieve total energy self-sufficiency, it features a robust power management system that provides a 15-day backup runtime under zero sunlight conditions. This reliable off-grid capability drastically simplifies deployment in remote locations without grid access, reducing installation costs and establishing a foundation for 2050 net-zero carbon emission targets in smart transportation.
