Press Releases

Industrial display solution provider Litemax (TPEx: 4995) presented a range of low-power, low-carbon display solutions at Touch Taiwan 2026. Highlights included ePaper displays, Cholesteric LCDs, small-to-medium size Type-C displays, and its award-winning industrial touch panel computer. These innovations demonstrate Litemax’s commitment to energy-efficient display technologies and ESG-driven development for smart city, smart retail, and transportation applications.
To address growing demand for net-zero and energy efficiency, Litemax continues to develop low-power and highly integrated display technologies. By reducing power consumption, simplifying system architecture, and minimizing cable usage, Litemax helps customers improve operational efficiency while supporting sustainability goals.
Litemax showcased 25.3-inch and 42-inch ePaper displays, which consume power only during image updates, significantly reducing energy usage compared to traditional displays. With high visibility and no backlight requirement, these solutions are ideal for smart retail signage, public information displays, and smart city applications.
Also on display was a 27-inch Cholesteric LCD featuring reflective technology and bi-stable characteristics, allowing content to remain visible even when power is removed. With low power consumption and strong outdoor readability, it is well suited for smart transportation and long-term public signage applications.
Litemax also introduced newly developed small-to-medium size Type-C industrial displays, designed to deliver power and signal through a single USB-C cable. Featuring low-power LED backlight technology, approximately 20W power consumption, and up to 100,000-hour backlight lifespan, the displays offer high reliability for industrial automation, smart manufacturing, transportation, and self-service applications. The single-cable design reduces wiring complexity, installation time, and material usage, supporting ESG goals by improving energy efficiency and reducing carbon footprint.
In addition, Litemax showcased the 24-inch marine panel PC IMRP-2435, recently honored with the Smart Display Application Award (SDAA). With high brightness and rugged industrial design, the system is suitable for marine, outdoor, transportation, and industrial automation environments.
Litemax stated that it will continue advancing energy-efficient and highly integrated display technologies while collaborating with industry partners to deliver low-carbon solutions and support sustainable development across industries.
